Job Specifications

Title: Online Sales and Digital Marketer 

Location: Glen Lyon Coffee Roasters, Aberfeldy Business Park, Aberfeldy PH15 2AQ

Terms: Part time role with flexible working hours. Minimum of 24 hours per week. 

Contract: Subject to a six-month probationary period 

Salary: £26,500 to £28,500 pro rata depending on experience

Start Date: 3rd June, 2024

Overview 

Glen Lyon Coffee is offering an exciting new role overseeing our online sales and advancing Glen Lyon Coffee’s digital marketing. You will primarily be responsible for the timely and accurate dispatch of our online orders. As a Digital Marketer you will develop Glen Lyon Coffee’s multi-channel communication strategies and work closely with the marketing team to help raise brand awareness and grow online sales. This will be an opportunity to work across a range of different digital platforms including social media, search engine optimisation (SEO) and pay per click (PPC) campaigns. 

Your main duties will be: 

  • Overseeing the dispatch of our online orders and helping to supervise the duties of our Roastery Assistant 
  • Monitoring and replying to our online customer inquiries
  • Working with the marketing team to develop and implement a digital marketing strategy 
  • Using advanced analytics software to identify and segment target customer audiences and assess end-to-end customer experience
  • Measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, service quotas, bounce rate and ad spend return on investment
  • Reporting back the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Creating and monitoring marketing campaign budgets

 

We are looking for a candidate that has the following: 

  • Understanding of online dispatch, follow on customer service and a keen eye for detail 
  • Experience in digital marketing and working with website analytics and social media platforms and/or willingness to learn the latest digital marketing technologies and trends
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to help produce written and visual (stills and video) content for social media 
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and willingness to work closely with our marketing team
  • A passion for speciality coffee and a desire to work in purpose led business
