Join us at our atmospheric roastery for another evening of music as part of our ongoing Live at the Roastery series.
For this special event we have teamed up with Fèis Thatha (“Tay Festival” in Gaelic) to bring talented up-and-coming Scottish musician Lauren Collier to Aberfeldy. Fèis Thatha aims to enable a thriving Gaelic and traditional music scene in the upper Tay.
The Lauren Collier Band plays songs and tunes which Lauren has collected from around the world. The fresh compositions and arrangements, combined with technology, create a blend of music encompassing flavours of traditional, world and electronic music.
Lauren released her debut album Uddevalla in December 2023. The album takes listeners on a musical journey from Haiti, through Sweden and India, and onto Indonesia and Greece, all the while offering a unique blend of traditional and electronic music that is incredibly diverse, yet wholly cohesive.
